Weekly Contact–September 3, 2015

Hello there,

Well, if you were in church last Sunday, you know I did something I do not often do. I preached about love and sex. You may or may not be aware that we do post all of our sermons on our website. So if you were not with us last Sunday and would like to know what I said, click here. You do have to click on the PDF icon once you get to the web page to open up the sermon.

Labor Day weekend is coming up, so this will be the last Sunday of one service. Don’t forget that the church office will be closed next Monday for the holiday. On the following Sunday, September 13th we will be back to our regular schedule of traditional worship at 9:00, Sunday School at 10:15, and our contemporary Synergy service at 11:00.

But this Sunday will be one service at 9:00. We will be celebrating the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper, so come and share the feast. The Rainbow Bells will be playing. I will be preaching on Mark 7:31-37, the story of Jesus healing a deaf man. The sermon title is “Be Opened!”

Stay in One Peace,

Howard
