Last night we literally kicked off our Wednesday night LOGOS program and it was wonderful. You really owe it to yourself to stop by on a Wednesday evening, watch all that is going on, and have supper with a great bunch of kids. It is great fun and gives you great hope for the future of our church. I want to send out a big THANK YOU to all who have a part in making it happen. And if you would like to do more than just stop by, we can always use more adult volunteers. There is a sign-up sheet in the social room.
We continue to need help in the nursery on Sunday mornings during the first service. If you could help, contact Brent or Dianna England.
This Sunday the Chancel Choir will be singing again in the first service. We will be getting into our fall sermons series on your favorite Bible stories from the Old Testament. I will be preaching on Genesis 4, which is the story of Cain and Abel and the first murder. It is a fascinating text and one I have never preached on before. The title of my sermon is “My Brother’s Keeper.”
Stay in One Peace,
