This is a day late, because Judy and I are just getting back from a two week vacation in Hawaii. We had a fabulous time, and as I type this I am still wearing flip-flops and my new Hawaiian shirt. You need a little time to adjust back to reality.
I hope you get a chance for a vacation this summer, but if you are around this week, we have a good Sunday coming up this week. Remember, it is only one service at 9:00. The Women’s Chorus is singing for special music, and Pastor Beth is preaching. Her text is Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23, and her sermon title it “God of the Fertile Fields.”
Following worship, the Navigators are hosting their annual “Strawberries ‘n More” down in the social room. So stick around for some good company and good food.
Sunday afternoon at 2:00, you are invited to the “Come FLY with Us!” concert put on by the Young at Harp and Deep Dish Divas musical groups. Proceeds from this concert will benefit FLY (Feeding Lunch to Youth).
Speaking of FLY, we are doing fairly well with volunteers on Wednesday, but we do need someone to deliver the lunches out to Squaw Creek Village. If you can help, contact Pastor Beth.
Hang loose and Stay in One Peace,
