Weekly Contact – July 18, 2019

Hello there,

The Praise Team led by Sam Raiche will be accompanying the songs and providing the special music for worship on Sunday.  We also will be baptizing little Callyn Rose Lowe, the daughter of Nick and Cheyenne Lowe.  Pastor Nancy Redman will be preaching.  Her text is Luke 10:25-35 and her sermon title is “Gifts of Silence.”

Following worship, everyone is invited downstairs for our annual Christmas in July brunch.  We will have breakfast casseroles, pastries, and Christmas cookies.  Some come hungry and make a big donation to support Operation Christmas Child.

As I mentioned last week, we are looking for someone to take over the weekly contact, sending out these Weekly Contact notices through email notes and FaceBook. Along with this, we need someone to take over managing the FaceBook page. It could be the same person or two individuals.  So, if you, or someone you know, would be interested out in helping this way, please get in touch with me. It would not involve any committee meetings, or a whole lot of time. You would have to be in contact with the church office and other individuals on a regular basis, but it is something that can be done at home and would be a big help to our church.

You are invited to my retirement open house, 2:00 to 5:00 on Saturday, July 27^th, and don’t forget to wear your Hawaiian shirt on my last Sunday is July 28th. If you don’t have anything Hawaiian, just something, bright, cool and comfortable. I am hoping it will all be a fun celebration.
