Weekly contact- December 31, 2015

Happy New Year! May 2016 be a good year for us all!

We need some help. All good things must come to an end, and so it is time to take down the Advent-Christmas decorations in the sanctuary.  We will be doing this at around noon on Sunday, after the second worship service.  Taking things down goes a lot quicker than setting things up; so if enough show up we should be done very quickly. So we would really appreciate it if you would give us a little time.

You won’t want to miss worship. As is our custom on the first Sunday of a new year, we will be celebrating the Lord’s Supper this week; a great way to start things off for 2016.  The Chancel choir will be singing at the first service.  I am preaching on Isaiah 60:1-6, a wonderful text for Epiphany.  My sermon title is “Your Light has Come.”

Next week, we will be back to our normal routine, committee meetings, LOGOS, choir practices, etc.
