I know this is last minute, but if there is any way you can make either or both of tonight’s Christmas Eve services, it will be worth your while. The music will be fantastic. At both services, Michelle Colton will be playing the marimba accompanied by Alejandro Cespedes on percussion.
At the 5:00 Family service, Sharon Colton and Judy Chapman will play a piano organ duet. The children will be playing the Rainbow Bells, and Kyra and Keelyn Kanz will sing a duet with Calvin Kanz on the violin. Of course, there will be lots of Christmas carols to sing.
At the 7:00 Communion service, in addition to Michelle and Alejandro, Alex Chapman will sing “O Holy Night,” and during communion Karen Pierce will play her hammer dulcimer, accompanied by John Heim on bass and Judy Chapman on the clavinova.
The great music continues in worship on this Sunday. Erin Pitts will be playing some Bach pieces on the violin. Annitta Parrish will sing a solo, and we will have a carol sing, led by Paul Holstein. Pastor Beth is preaching. Her text is Luke 2:22-40, and her sermon title is “Do You See What I See?”
Finally, we have a new feature on our website; a virtual 360° tour of our church sanctuary. A local photographer did this for us as a gift to honor Martha White. It is very cool. If you want to check it out click here.
