Weekly Contact – August 8, 2019

This Communion Sunday the Rev. Jim Langley will be our guest speaker.  Pastor Langley’s sermon, By Faith, is based on Hebrews 11:1-16.   And in a Minute for Mission, Roger Dana will be reporting on the work and progress of the Interim Pastor Search Committee.

The Building & Grounds Committee would like everyone to know that they have purchased a battery powered lawnmower and trimmer so that volunteers will no longer have to bring their own tools when mowing the church lawn.  If you would like to lend a hand, contact Wayne Seagren.

Something to keep in mind – our Sunday worship service continues at 10:00 am through September 1 (Labor Day weekend).  Beginning Sunday, September 8, we will continue with a single worship service on Sunday mornings, but the time will move to 9:00 am.

Sadly, this Saturday at 10:30 am the funeral service for Julie Wallace’s son, Danny Linderman, will be held in our sanctuary. Pastor Redman will be officiating.
