The Interim Pastor Nominating Committee (IPNC) has been hard at work. Chair Roger Dana reported Sunday that they have selected two for further consideration from the 15 Personal Information Forms they received. They are now awaiting background and Presbytery to Presbytery reference checks. When a candidate is selected the IPNC will meet with Session for their approval and begin working on the Job Description and Terms of Call. The process is definitely moving forward.
This past week our new Christian Education Director, Kristin Stanley, began work. She is very excited to be here and is enthusiastic about programming here at FPC. Be sure to take a minute to introduce yourself to Kristin.
The Website Committee has been working to update our very outdated website. You are invited to take a look at www.fpcmarion.org. If you have any suggestions or additional information, please contact Dave DeHoff at [email protected] The various church committees are especially asked to review the information regarding their work. The Website Committee would be happy to hear from you.
Seems that two white plastic folding tables have been misplaced. If you happen to know where they might be, please let the office know.
The Building & Grounds Committee is still looking for volunteers to mow the church lawn. A new battery powered mower and trimmer have been purchased and stored at the church so you don’t need to load up your own equipment. Contact Wayne Seagren if you can lend a hand.
