Weekly Contact- April 14, 2016

Hello there,

It is a glorious day and it looks like spring has finally arrived. I hope you get the chance to get outside and enjoy it.

We have a wonderful Sunday coming up this week. The Chancel Bells will be playing which is always a treat.  And once again Bob Roussell has pulled together a brass ensemble for the special music at the first service.  They played one Sunday last fall and it was wonderful.  You won’t want to miss it.

I will be continuing my sermon series I am calling “Peter’s Progress” tracing how Peter is transformed into a dynamic church leader through the power of the Risen Christ. My text this week is Acts 9:31-42, the story of Peter doing some amazing things in the coastal towns of Lydda and Joppa.  My title this week is “Peter’s Progress Part 2: On the Move.”

Between services the youth will be cooking up another of their delicious pancake breakfasts, so come hungry and give generously. Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit the senior high trip to Dallas, TX in July.

Stay in One Peace,
