The ministry of the deacons is one of compassion, witness and service. Our ministry is to serve those in need and to that end we call on the sick, visit those who are unable to participate fully in the life of the church and provide rides to worship and other events. We want our people to remain connected with the church so we deliver bulletins and newsletters and remain in contact with them in a variety of ways, including extending the table when we celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. Our hope is they will continue to feel part of this community of faith and will know that we care for them.
