A Merry and Blessed Christmas to you and yours!
If you are off traveling and visiting loved ones may the Lord watch over you and keep you safe, but if you are in town, please join us for our Christmas Eve services. The Family Service will be at 5:00. The Kanz family will be providing special music, as well as Chelsea McDill singing an inspiring solo. There will be Christmas carols and wonderful stories, of course. The Candlelight Communion service will be at 7:00. Alex Chapman will be singing a solo, and as always, we end singing “Silent Night.”
There will be one service on Sunday, the 27th at 9:00. Pastor Nancy Redman will be preaching. Her text is Luke 2:22-35, and her sermon title is “A Kairos Moment.” We have a real treat in store for our special music. Erin Pitt, who is Kathy Hayes’ niece and a highly skilled and talented violist, will be with us. She will play a Brahms viola sonata. You won’t want to miss it.
Just as a reminder, if you want a contribution to count in 2015 for tax purposes, it needs to be in to the church office no later than noon on Wednesday, the 30th. We are so grateful for your generosity and anything you can give to help us end out the year would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you have not yet turned in your pledge card for 2016, it would really help us if you could do so.
Again, may the joy, love and hope that is ours because of the child that was born, fill your hearts, and remember:
Stay in One Peace,
